Cannot receive messages

To see the settings of an account, select Tools> Account Settings in the Thunderbird menu bar, or click the Applications menu button and select Options and Account Settings from the sub menu, then select the server for the account name from the list. Your email account provider can give you the connection information about your server (perhaps on their website), make sure your account settings match these settings
